GreenGo strengthens its management team for the new IPP phase: Pavirani, formerly of Illumia, and Sacchetti join the team
GreenGo is strengthening its management team and consolidating its organisational structure to support the new phase of its industrial journey as a Renewable Independent Power Producer.
Bologna, 1 July 2026 – GreenGo is strengthening its management team and consolidating its organisational structure to support the new phase of its industrial journey as a Renewable Independent Power Producer.
Antonio Pavirani joins the company as Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs, and Dario Sacchetti as Head of Technical Asset Management and Operations. Both report directly to GreenGo’s CEO, Giuseppe Mastropieri, bringing key expertise necessary for the management of the company’s energy assets.
Antonio Pavirani, former Head of Legal Affairs at the Tremagi Group (parent company of the trader Illumia), brings to GreenGo extensive experience in corporate law, corporate governance and the legal management of electricity regulation and energy sales.
Dario Sacchetti, former Chief O&M and Software Officer at NYOX (part of the Edison Next group), brings significant experience in the technical and operational management of renewable energy plants, with a strong track record in O&M and the digitalisation of monitoring and performance management activities.
“With Pavirani and Sacchetti, GreenGo is integrating essential legal, corporate and operational expertise at a time of rapid change,” says Mastropieri, CEO of GreenGo, “a phase that requires an increasingly structured organisational framework, capable of managing legal, corporate, contractual, technical and operational aspects in an integrated manner. The two new senior executives will focus on areas of development that are strategic for us as an IPP: energy sales and digitalisation.”
“I am excited about this new challenge,” says Antonio Pavirani. “GreenGo is now a leading player in Emilia-Romagna with ambitions for growth and national recognition. The organisational environment is both stimulating and challenging; we are already up and running with the new project financing and the structuring of a governance framework capable of supporting the growth of an integrated IPP.”
“A multi-technology platform like GreenGo requires a high level of digital integration,” says Dario Sacchetti. “I have spent much of my career implementing digital solutions for the management and monitoring of utility-scale plants: with the new opportunities offered by AI, we can achieve high levels of scalability with a limited number of resources, focusing on performance and a predictive O&M strategy.”
