Wind power, Project in Apulia
GreenGo develops a new wind farm in Apulia: 10 turbines, 6 MW each
GreenGo has launched the development of the first Italian onshore wind project equipped with 6 MW turbines, through its special purpose vehicle Enerwing S.r.l. The wind farm will consist of 10 Siemens-Gamesa SG170 turbines, with a total installed capacity of 60 MW.
The Enerwing project is currently undergoing the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) procedure led by the Ministry of the Environment, marking the first milestone in the permitting process.
An environmental mitigation plan, developed in collaboration with the local municipality, will be presented to the public by summer. The initiative represents a significant opportunity for economic growth in Southern Italy, in line with the goals of the European Green Deal, driven by investments in renewable energy.
GreenGo is ready to take on this new challenge.
