Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Majoor of Francofonte Municipality-Daniele Lentini- and GreenGo CEO Giuseppe Mastropieri

The Memorandum of Understanding signed today by Daniele Nunzio Lentini, Mayor of Francofonte Municipality, and Giuseppe Mastropieri, CEO of GreenGo Srl, positions the GreenGo Srl Group at the forefront of Italy’s energy transition. The agreement outlines a significant (90MWp) Solar Project, already approved, that respects the agricultural landscape by incorporating an agrovoltaic solution to be implemented on dried lands.

This partnership with Francofonte Municipality, built through a participatory process, will lead to the creation of an “Energy Community” involving approximately 50 local farms, primarily orange producers. The project is expected to drive positive economic effects, including reduced energy costs for agriculture and an estimated +40 new stable jobs.
