GreenGo supports Sopowerful Foundation in bringing renewable energy where it’s most needed

We are excited to announce our partnership with the Sopowerful Foundation, an organisation dedicated to bringing renewable energy to areas where it can significantly impact.

Energy poverty has been a recurring issue, particularly in Europe, where the high cost of electricity has hindered access for many individuals and families. However, in some regions, the need for more reliable electricity is an even more significant challenge. For example, in Malawi, one of the world’s poorest countries, only 5% of the rural population has access to electricity, limiting their opportunities for progress and development.

Recognising the urgent need to address this disparity, GreenGo has joined forces with Sopowerful, a foundation dedicated to the mission of “solar where it matters most.” Together, we aim to harness solar energy’s power and leverage local installers’ expertise to provide sustainable solutions in areas that can significantly benefit from access to electricity.

Through strategic solar energy initiatives, Sopowerful enables improved healthcare facilities, enhances educational opportunities, supports irrigation systems, and promotes access to clean water. Their impact-driven and sustainable approach has already positively affected the lives of over 90,000 individuals across 20 operational projects.

As part of our commitment to social responsibility and sustainable development, GreenGo is proud to contribute to Sopowerful’s mission. By supporting the Foundation, we will help empower communities and foster substantial development through solar power.
