Giovanna La Piana has recently joined as Head of HV Electrical & Grid Connection of the Engineering department.
The GreenGo Srl management team is excited to announce a new resource: Eng. Giovanna La Piana has recently joined as Head of HV Electrical & Grid Connection of the Engineering department.
Giovanna is a proud Sicilian electrical engineer who began her career in 2009 as a solar power plant designer. Between 2009 and 2012, she contributed to a wide range of photovoltaic projects across Sicily, progressively building solid expertise in the renewable energy sector. From 2013 onward, her professional focus shifted to utility-scale high-voltage generation plants—particularly wind and photovoltaic systems—covering the full spectrum from development to executive design and construction. She played a key role first at PLT Energia Srl Engineering and later at Tozzi Green S.p.A., contributing to projects totaling over 300 MW of delivered capacity.
“I am thrilled to contribute with Greengo multi-tech platform” she says. “Despite the critical burocratic issues that are slowing down permitting processes, GreenGo’s integrated approach as well as the full control of greenfield project value chain up to the COD status. I believe that this modus operandi will be successful in order to significantly contribute to the Italian Ecologic Transition”.
