GreenGo mandates for financing of Energy Release-backed portfolio
GreenGo has been among the top-5 front runners in the Energy Release 2.0 Ministero dell'Ambiente e della Sicurezza Energetica initiative, securing 5% of the greenfield RES Energy Release 2.0 assigned capacity
We are pleased to share the NPM Europe (New Project Media) feature on the upcoming financing process for our 250 MW Energy Release–backed portfolio.
GreenGo has been among the top‑5 front runners in the Energy Release 2.0 initiative of the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security, securing 5% of the greenfield RES Energy Release 2.0 assigned capacity on the GSE (Gestore Servizi Energetici) contract delegation web portal with hundreds of energy‑intensive manufacturing companies in Italy.
In addition to its strong value in terms of optionality and flexibility for GreenGo Srl’s business plan, the operation as a major player in the Italian energy transition brings the significant advantage of being awarded a sizeable incentivised RES capacity without having to access the GSE auction mechanisms (and the risks associated with their outcomes).
Special thanks to the Elettricità Futura team for working hard throughout 2025 to make Energy Release 2.0 a viable and attractive option in support of the Italian energy transition.
A heartfelt thank you to Latitude Srl for their broad and successful aggregation initiative, and to Franco Valentini for his excellent coordination and outstanding commercial contribution.
Featuring our CEO Giuseppe Mastropieri, and with thanks to NPM Europe and Jonathan McNair for the interview.
