GreenGo: first Lidar application in Italy for wind farms

GreenGo has introduced LIDAR technology in its onshore wind power development, selecting the ZX 300 system to measure wind conditions at heights beyond the capabilities of traditional meteorological masts.

This innovative and highly accurate technology will be deployed across GreenGo’s ongoing projects in Southern Italy, which are designed for 6 MW wind turbines. The use of LIDAR will play a key role in the power performance assessment of these utility-scale wind farms.
