GreenGo completes sale of 127.7 MW solar projects in Sicily to BNZ
The successful sale of RTB and authorised solar projects in Sicily to BNZ is a new milestone to target GreenGo's growth strategy.
These projects are part of our track record of 420 MW authorised to date, contributing to our overall pipeline of 1.8 GW, predominantly owned. More than 600 MW are expected to reach Ready to Build status over the next two years, with an impressive success rate of 91%.
At GreenGo, we prioritise Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, focusing on sustainable development and positive community impact. We thank BNZ, portfolio company of Glennmont Partners from Nuveen, for their collaboration and for sharing our vision of responsible energy development.
Luis Selva, CEO of BNZ, stated:
“The acquisition of these fully authorised plants represents our first steps in Sicily and consolidates our presence in the Italian market. We would like to thank GreenGo for their cooperation and for developing these projects in a way that is very attentive to the needs of local communities. We take the baton by confirming our commitment to be a responsible partner in the communities where we operate, to ensure that these projects can be an opportunity for social and environmental growth, creating solid relationships to guarantee the creation of value in the long term.”
We are confident that under BNZ’s stewardship, these projects will continue to serve as opportunities for growth, fostering strong relationships and ensuring long-term value creation for local economies and communities.
